General Notes

Entities registered under Basic Service Plan (the Free service plan) may use any link options appearing in the 'General' column.
Those registered under 'Commercial' may also use choose to use any 'General' link buttons / images, as well as any of those appearing in the 'Commercial' column. 'Associates' may use any button / image appearing in the 'Associate' column, as well as any of those under 'Commercial' or 'General'.

Only a de facto non-profit charity may register as an 'Affiliate' for which there is no charge. They only use the buttons / images appearing in the 'Afilliate' column. The holder of an Extended License has considerably more flexibility than the examples shown here.

Any entity on our Full Service Plan may also develop their own customised buttons bearing the ethical brand Identity® for their own exclusive use, but as is the case with all customised expressions of the ethical brand Identity® - which we encourage - artwork must be submitted to Ethical Brand (International) and approved in writing prior to use. See 'Identity Extensions' under Extended License for more information.

Technical / Security Note

Most rollover buttons or images in use on the web today use Javascript, which is considered by some organisations to represent an unacceptable security risk. If you have these security anxieties note that the above examples are HTML/CSS rollovers. This means they do not require the use of Javascript on the host website. Some webmasters still prefer the Javascript approach as it does swap the images slightly faster - so this option remains available. See the button at the foot of our website for an example of Javascript supported performance.
